Ford C-MAX Titanium is the UK’s best value MPV
The class leading Ford C-MAX Titanium has been given the enviable accolade of the UK’s best value MPV, according to online car buying guide, Parkers. Parkers judge new and used car models using a variety of metrics to establish an overall cost of ownership that includes: list price, running costs, depreciation, road tax, servicing costs and fuel consumption. The cars that are deemed best value and ‘make your cash go further’ are then awarded the top accolades – which is why the Ford C-MAX Titanium was crowned the Best Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV).
Kieren Puffet, Parkers editor, said: “The Ford C-Max 1.6 TDCi Titanium won Parkers’ New Car Awards 2011 MPV category because it is great to drive, comes with a quality interior and with plenty of space.
“When it comes to value the Ford C-MAX scores highly. The 1.6-litre diesel provides great performance and 61mpg combined fuel economy means trips to the fuel pump aren’t frequent.
“With competitive servicing costs, low insurance premiums and keen road tax prices the Ford C-Max 1.6 TDCi Titanium is the MPV that makes the car buyer’s cash go furthest.”
The C-MAX was also commended for its ‘Esy Fuel’ capless refuelling system, which is a standard feature on most new Ford car’s to prevent accidentally filling up with the wrong fuel.
The Ford C-MAX is available now from £17,195 and boasts the maximum five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP and Thatcham alarm, DAB radio, Bluetooth and USB connectivity as standard.

Two of Ford’s most exciting models have been recognised at the recent Business Car Manager Awards. Ralph Morton, editor, Business Car Manager said: “These two Ford models thoroughly deserve these awards after meeting our stringent selection criteria. They don’t cost the earth to run and hang on to a lot of their value – they are ultimately very desirable.”
Kevin Griffin, director fleet operations, Ford of Britain said: “We are delighted to receive these two accolades. Ford’s best-ever car range appeals to a wide spectrum of customers, including the demanding business sector, and we are thrilled that the popularity of our cars continues to result in winning awards.”
